World Cup 2010 in The Banner

A total of 200 teams have entered the race for one of the 31 places at the finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The preliminary rounds, which began in the Oceanic Zone back in August 2007, is now in full swing, with only the host nation South Africa guaranteed a place so far in the worlds festival of football.
There will be 10 venues for the tournament in 9 cities/towns.
They are Cape Town, Johannesburg[2], Durban, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, Rustenburg and Polokwane.
The kick off times are 3pm and 7.30pm GMT. The tournament itself kicks off in Soccer City, Johannesburg. 3pm GMT on Friday June 11th 2010.
The final is also in Soccer City, Johannesburg, Sun July 11th, 7.30 GMT.
The 2 semi finals will be held in Cape Town and Durban, on Tues July 6th and Wed 7th respectively.
